Swift Challenger 460/4SE Caravan 4 Berth Single Axle in Wraxall, Somerset for sale

Swift Challenger 460/4SE Caravan 4 Berth Single Axle

Yes, this caravan is free! I am leaving the country on the 30/09/15. My wife and I have been living in this caravan for the past 18 months and we are reluctantly departing with it because we are moving abroad. This caravan suits a person who is happy to do some maintenance work. The caravan has a few faults but unlike other caravans I have gone to view, this ad is an honest description of the caravan. All lights working (as you can see on the picture) on both battery and electric. Under cupboard spot lights Unique layout with the kitchen at one end. 4 berth but we never used the bunk beds (although the previous owner did), just the main double bed. Gas heater (although we never used as we had a deal on the use of electricity) Gas canister (Orange), which still has some (not sure how much) gas in it. 4 ringed hobs (spark has gone so we used a lighter to initiate flame) Gas Oven & Grill (works, used it a few times) Hot & Cold water with electric pumps to deliver water to both the W/C & kitchen taps (Electric switch to turn on hot water). Fridge & small freezer compartment (gas, battery & electric, although we never used the fridge on gas) Bathroom with cassette toilet, basin & shower (although the clip is broken to hook the tap onto the wall) TV aerial points (The previous owners had a TV so I assume it works but we never used it) Water pump & external water container 2 sets of keys for all locks 240v electric hook up. (doesn't come with cable) Lots of storage. All windows have black out screen, although the clip is broken on one of them (easily fixable) Faults (refer to pictures) On the side of the caravan is a small hole and scratch along the side of the caravan (incurred by the previous owners). You can see we have tapped up the side. We never received any leakages, damp or mould as a result of this hole, although we were using an awning for most of the time, which covered the side. As a result of the incident that made the surface gash, we think it has disrupted the side of the caravan slightly, with it moving slightly near the door. We were never worried about and didn't pay much thought to this because it was safe enough to travel to our destination and then it was going to sit on the site until we passed it on. I am not a expert on fixing caravans but I would suggest if you wanted to move it about more regularly you might look add a few screws/bolts to bind it together (something someone handy could do I'm sure). One of the sky lights obviously received some leakage at some point in its history, leaving the sky light as you see in the picture. We resealed all the sky lights with new sealant to ensure the sky lights leaked no more. Cassette toilet open and shutter components work but in this last week has been a little dodgy but again I am sure someone handy could look at it. If you have any other questions of things I may of forgotten to add the please get in contact. Mark
